CPI, alongside with International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) Young Professionals’ Group, recently conducted a three-day training course on Waste Generation and Characterization Studies. The training aimed to equip participants with essential skills to conduct waste audits and design effective waste management projects. As part of our ongoing efforts, CPI will continue to engage in capacity-building initiatives to contribute to sustainable waste management practices in developing sub-continental countries like Pakistan.

In the future, the programs will be intended to cater to essential areas such as circular economy fundamentals; best practices for handling plastic and its recycling; solid, liquid, and industrial waste management strategies; and community engagement requiring a behavioural change in understanding and contributing to the circular economy of plastics and other sustainable practices.
