CPI Team Authors Article ‘Environment: Garbage by the Sea’
The team at KSBL Circular Plastics Institute, Shiza Aslam, and Wali Hassan authored an article titled ”Environment: Garbage by the Sea”. The publication drew attention to the mounting waste management crisis in the scenic coastal area on the outskirts of Karachi, and how rising tourism and unsustainable local waste management are creating a health and environmental hazard.
CPI aims to establish an ecosystem for a circular economy in Pakistan and reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing, reprocessing, and plastic use.
